When I was a teenager, I learned to play guitar so as to impress girls. Later, I realized that I don't have the talent so I gave my two guitars away to friends. Recently, our neighbor gifted one of his guitars to us in return for our kindness offered in certain matters. Not wanting to waste this precious gift, I started playing it again and also learned one thing: You may not have the talent, but you can still have the fun -- and the fun is to sing simple or funny songs with friends at our home. Here's the post.

NewG talk #17

If you look at the stats, you get a sense that the NewG is all about China. The majority of the Top 10 extensions are sold in that country. The only exception is .online where China accounts for only 29% of its total registration.

One NewG to watch is .loan which is growing rapidly. It has moved from #7 to #6 this week. If you look at its registration chart on the Namestat.org/loan page, you can see that something unusual happened on November 29 and later. The number increased by 200,000 in just one week. Is it normal? I don't want to speculate.

.club shows strength. Its registration chart (Namestat.org/club) indicates solid growth. I also like .online, which is impressive with its almost straight-line upward growth (Namestat.org/online). Other new extensions doing well include .bid, .site, and .vip.
